well made but assembly daunting
This is an extremely well made product. I have purchased several items from CozyCat, and the quality has always been very high.

The carpet is lovely and the wood is thick and sturdy.

However. it has a problem with assembly. There are no pre-drilled holes for attaching the top to the legs. Instead, eight screws for this are included. This means that, because of the thickness of the wood, a power drill seems to be necessary, along with careful measuring to determine where to place the holes.

Unlike the other products I bought, which arrived in excellent shape, this one was damaged, presumably by FedEx, in transit. FedEx seems to have left it outside at some point in its travels, where it got wet, etc. so I did not actually do the assembly.

If I were manufacturing this product, I would pre-drill holes slightly smaller than the screws, so that the customer would know where to place the screws and could do that without a power drill.

On the other hand, someone who is used to power tools could probably assembly this quickly.

I am going to re-order this because it is really an excellent product, and ask for assembly help from a friend.
