Cedar Cat Scratching

This unique scratcher is custom
made of eastern red cedar (also called aromatic red cedar)
some tantalizing feathers, and a ping pong ball. It is 100%
natural, solid cedar, no particle board, plywood, carpet, adhesives,
etc. It has not been sealed so it still releases a wonderful
cedar scent.
The cat scratching post will
be made from two pieces of cedar that are approximately 20" tall
and 25" long. Its legs have been beveled so that it sets
flat and stable so your cats can climb, scratch and crawl under
it. The feather toys will sway and turn with the slightest
air movement. If you place the scratcher where there is some
air movement your kitty won't be able to resist it. And, this
scratcher has a mouse hole with mouse! Well, a ping pong ball
that acts like a mouse. When your kitty probes in the 6" deep
hole for the ball it rolls up and away, then when she removes
her paw from the mouse hole the ball comes back with a "pong" sound.
The ball "mouse" can not be removed from its hole.

This cat scratching post has
been shaped, scraped, and hand sanded smooth yet retains its
natural appearance. There are interesting contours and textures
for your cats scratching pleasure. Eastern red cedar is a perfect
scratching medium for cats. The creamy wood is hard enough
for satisfying scratching yet not so hard as to splinter and
stick in the cats paws.
