Questions & Answers

Is the wood of house treated in any way?
Cindy
  • The wood is natural and not treated. Cedar does not have to be treated but it is OK if you want to paint or stain the house. If you want to treat the house then we recommend a Thompsons water seal.

Which parts of the feeder are Cedar wood? What Wood is used for the other parts?
Angela Shaw
  • The floor and exterior walls are cedar, inside are framed with spruce lumber.

    Kelly
Is the overhang a part of the width dimension? Or are the dimensions for the floor surface?
Lorraine
  • The dimensions do not include the overhang. It is an extra 8".

Roof extension does not appear on the assembly video

I just want to confirm that all of the feeding stations come with the extended roof.

Marisa Cupps
  • All the feeding stations come with an extended roof.

    Kelly
How many cats can eat in each size?
Holly
  • It depends on the bowl size you will use.

Need extended roof as shown. Is this the one I need to order?
Elizabeth Vermilyea

Can you make a much smaller feeding station?

We recently purchased your Wooden Waterproof Feral Cat Shelter for Winter and Summer and love it! We need a feeding station but your small station is too large. We need it to house only one bowl so no more than 16 inch width (opening) then a depth of about 18 in and similar height. A peaked or simple sloped roof would be better than flat. So you small station narrowed to 16 inches would be perfect. Can you do this? If so what would it cost?

Dennis Brooks
  • Unfortunately, we can not make the small feeding station smaller.

Elevated platforms for feeders?
I was looking for way to elevate the large feeding station to keep raccoons and possums out of the cat food. Do you make raised platforms for your feeding stations?
Mel
  • Unfortunately, we do not have platforms for the pet feeding stations.
