I would like to find out where it is made and the posts are made of wood or cupboard?

This cat tree is made in China and the posts are built of strong cardboard wrapped with sisal rope.

This has four sisal posts that our furball enjoys impaling. She's taken to sleeping on the top in the sun. The base is wide and quite sturdy, which is needed as the furball likes to leap off the top. Assembly was quite straightforward. A good value, and we're thinking of getting another for a different window. Yes, the furball is spoilt.

The kitty tree is great. It came shipped perfectly and in great condition as they promised. The material is perfect and is so easy to assemble. My cat was a little hesitant at first because he didn't know whether to play with the tree or the box it came in first. Whenever I come home he's sleeping in the little house.
