Description

This deluxe cat tree was designed because big cats need big love and more space to lounge and play. It features a hammock and an oversized hanging basket (compared to other large cat trees on the market) that can hold more weight, along with thicker posts for larger paws. There are 3 solid platforms, a small play tunnel, a bottom cubby at the base, and a roomy top perch area. With 11 oversized sisal scratching posts, this sturdy cat tree is the perfect piece for multiple big cats or one very special large kitty. The thick rope in the center will encourage play and exercise. While this activityy center is designed for big and heavy cats, it is still quite compact.

Can an additional 18in basket be purchased and attached? Answers1

I would love to be able to attach another basket to another of the sisal posts . I have 2 cats and would prefer they not have to fight over one!

How is the durability of the scratch posts? Answers1

My “son” uses his scratch posts constantly and is always in his cat tree so having very durable sisal / posts are essential. With multiple daily uses, on average how long before the rope will begin to shred?

We can not tell how long the rope on the posts will hold because this depends on the cat, but the posts are very strong and wrapped with thick natural sisal rope.

This is probably the nicest quality cat tree that I've ever purchased. The upholstery is soft, the sisal rope-poles are sturdy enough for my cats to cling to like koala bears on a eucalyptus tree, and the whole condo is heavy enough to stay upright during an earthquake. All 3 cats (ranging from 8-16 lbs) immediately settled right into it. The longest vertical distance between successive levels is about 20" from the floor to the 2nd level (the platform right under the basket) and from the 4th level to the top level with the pillow on top, so if you have pretty senior cats, take that into consideration.

I have been searching for years for a cat tree that suits my very large disabled cat. (Missing back leg, can't jump because of this.) Everything else I've ever tried has either been way too small or too difficult for him to navigate.

This one however has done the trick! The basket is huge, the top level has a soft pillow that he loves and the various levels are places with enough of a stagger that he's able to pull himself up with no issues.

We just received our cat tree and we are really impressed with quality of item. It is so heavy and stable, so two people is hard to move from one room to another. Two of our four cats already used it and can’t stop climb up to the top and back on the ground. We a little bit disappointed of the color which did not match our décor, but it is not so important. The carpet is very soft and we are happy because our cats like it.
