Ideas to steady tree.

I've found that many of the cat trees don't have enough weight in the bottom to keep them steady. Put some weight in the box - maybe bricks covered with a soft blanket and see if that works. Floor to ceiling are better but if you have a real active cat, you will find you have to reposition them often. Also, look for ones that the posts screw into wood, not plastic as we've had 3 break just from a 11 lb. cat jumping down from it.

There was a small screw missing, it is not as sturdy and steady as it should be. I have a large active Bengal. He loved it in the box, He helped put it together. He has tried it and it moves when he jumps on it. He really hates it and will only use it to look at a nearby bush on the lowest platform and that is only once in awhile as he has scared all the birds away.

I'm going to have to give him back the one that fit him as a kitten.... But parts of him hang over the edges.
