Cats love the cat scratcher. I've had it for a year and 4 months and so far it has held up to two cats that use it daily. The only reason I removed 1 star is because when I received it there was an empty spot where the rope wasn't wrapped uniformly and tightly together. Other than that, both cats love it, and that's what matters most to me.
