This is a really nice, well constructed cat tower with lots of places for cats to lounge, scratch and hide.
My only complaint is that the instructions left a little to be desired but they weren’t horrible.
If you get one of these, one thing to watch for. Some of the posts have holes in them (for the hammocks) which are used in later steps so just make sure you don’t put those in the bottom section while assembling it like I did and had to redo a part of it.
But overall quite satisfied with the end result and the cats really seem to like it.

I bought this because my 2-year-old Maine Coon had outgrown his other cat tree, and this was marketed as being for big cats. Well, it feels like a large condo for small cats. He barely fits in the bottom enclosure and doesn’t fit in the top at all, and the platforms aren’t really big enough for him to jump around on. It’s beautiful and sturdy, but it was a total waste of money in our case. I’m still trying to get him to take to it, but even catnip isn’t helping with that. It was such a pain to put together that I won’t bother disassembling it to return it. I may just have to donate it to a shelter.

This castle is a beautifully made cat tower. My two love attaching on it. Actually couldn’t wait for me to finish putting it together. The main problem which is huge, they can’t get down once they are up. They are unable to find places big enough for them to comfortably jump down. We had to lift them down and at 20 pounds each (Maine Coons), not an easy thing when you are short.
We ended up taking the seat from the top left, remove the post and screwing the seat onto mini platform to give them somewhere (hopefully) that they can jump to safety get down.
I do wish that that those type of things could have been thought out better. I bought produt specifically because it said it was made for large cats. I think I may have to redesign it to better fit my animals. They rather use the old cat tree I put in the basement than this one in the room with us.

YOU NEED DRASTIC IMPROVEMENT on the directions for this cat tower! It would take someone about two hours to write detailed instructions on how to put this tree together; instead the "instructions" are a only a ridiculous diagram which required a degree from MIT to decipher. The parts and screws were not appropriately labeled, if at all. The whole process was VERY frustrating. I absolutely LOVED it once I figured out how to put it together but the company needs to invest a bit of time into providing adequate instructions AND labeling the parts.

This wasn't too difficult to build, the trickiest part was figuring out which pieces were which because some are similar but have openings in different spots to hange hammocks (for example). I have been searching for a big cat tower for my 5 large cats and this one does great! Assembly wasn't to complicated (there's a youtube video if you get stumped). One of the ladder pieces (right support side) came broken. The delivery box had also sustained heavy damage. Some of the drilled holes didn't align properly, but with some tweaking I was able to get it together. Even with some minor defects and a broken piece, once completely assembled the cat tower is sturdy. For the price I would say it would be nice if it didn't come with broken pieces as I would expect with any quality product/purchase (hence only 3 stars). Pretty happy with it and hoping it will last. With some cat nip spray the cats have enjoyed it.

Our cats were scratching the posts and going in the house while we were still putting it together. I was impressed with the quality. As others have said, all the bolts went in easily, and it's all sturdy.
The brown color is a bit more garish than I had expected, but I'm used to it now. The green is quite dark and subtle.
The instructions of cat tree were mostly good, but there were a couple diagrams that made it look like posts were in a different place than they really are. And it didn't really describe how to insert the hammock holder supports into the vertical posts, but we figured that out.
We had to undo a bit of work a couple times because we accidentally put things together the opposite way from how they should have been. We also ended up switching to our own allen wrench because the one that was provided slipped a couple times. But we got it all done in a couple hours.
It's big. We knew that, but it wasn't until it was all assembled that it really hit us. Anyone under about 5'5" is going to have trouble reaching the highest perches.
The design is quite good, with excellent stability, lots of platforms and perches of various shapes, and plenty of space for cats to move around. The slot openings in the upper house roof have been a surprise hit -- lots of paws sticking through in either direction trying to grab whatever is on the other side.
We expect to get a lot of use out of this over the coming years.

Not much to add that others have not already shared -- the instructions are pretty terrible, and if you're like me you may make some (maybe careless) errors which may add an hour or two to assembly, but I'm not sure I've ever seen a good instruction manual to anything I've bought within the last 10 years or so.

Otherwise a true luxury item and a few hundred points above the average, very ugly carpet-based sets that molt everywhere, but don't expect your cat, especially if older like mine, to immediately warm up to it -- took some cajoling and he's still less likely to use it if guests aren't over -- go figure.

Since I'm a cat person, I accepted that even if it's not a big hit with my oversized, and older tabby, it would still prove to be a good investment for future kittens of whom I would imagine would go mental over this thing!

A little text in the instructions would be helpful. That being said, it took us about 2 hours to put together. The best thing to do is lay out and identify all the parts, separate and label the bolts in ziplock bags. Study the instructions and follow them exactly as shown. This condo is well made. I have Bengal cats one being a 20 lb large male. The base is very large and the four post that hold the main frame together give it durability and help so there is no wobble. With the larger base there is no worry of tipping. The top bed is very soft and fluffy like a pillow not hard like wood. The house on top is smaller then the one on the bottom. The hammocks are well made and soft. It was very easy to put together. That being said when my large male climbs up and down and uses the scratching post it does not wobble or tip and he is not gentle about going up it. He love the bottom house it is a good size for him. The top house he goes in but it is a little too small for him but on top of the top house there is a good size platform which he loves to lay on. The beds are too small for him but my girls love to sleep in them they are perfect for regular size cats. The hammocks are great. I think the hammocks give them less pressure on the joints when resting.This furniture has a little bit for all size cats. The leaves on the condo make it look more natural in the room. My cats love it and use it daily. I would definitely recommend it. I know a lot of people worry will it be good for larger cats. This is a well made product for all size cats.
