I would also like to know if it's one peice of plywood with no breaks (all of my scratch posts in the past have broken because the base was not one continuous peice).

I bought a cat post from another vendor......although the style was identical to others she’s enjoyed, cat refused to use it. It finally occurred to me to wipe it down with a cloth...the thing was filthy.
