This vertical sisal cat scratching post comes in three sizes, allowing you to choose from a 20-inch, 24-inch, or king-sized 32-inch post. Each one is hand-built in the USA and made to last as long as your kitty can enjoy it. Sisal rope wrapped all the way around? Answers1

Is sisal rope wrapped all the way around the cat scratching post or is one side carpet? One of the pictures in the description is confusing me there.

The sisal rope is wrapped all the way around the post. There is no carpet on the post, only on the base and top of the post.

The sisal rope is 3/8” thick and the base is 1/2” thick plywood (5 layers of wood to make up the 1/2” thickness).

I bought the tall scratcher so my cat can get a good stretch while scratching. She loves it. I bought another for my son’s cat and his cat loves it also. It’s sturdy, will not tip, well made is an understatement. The 3 screws are long so a drill is good idea. Worth every penny.

I have received and begun using this sisal cat post, well, my cat has begun using it. I placed it next to the one I already had and he used the new one, and a second time, as well. Now I have moved it to a second location. It looks well built but it has only 2 screws attaching the post. I would think 3 would make a more solid attachment over time. But, we'll see how it progresses. Thank you for such a basic well designed piece of equipment.
